‘The Animal that takes you’

Budapest Dance Theatre is offering the opportunity to keep researching and developing.

I am currently creating a 30 min work for BDT. The piece will be premiered at the National Theatre of Hungary on February 27th 2017.

The process started a week ago, and very beautiful things are already happening in the studio. Beauty and poetry are emanating from the dancers’ bodies. We are letting our imagination fly far, letting it come back to reality and go back up in a even farther flight. 

We are researching the duality in our personality, the capacity of traveling to unknown lands within the same room. Importance of detail, and the rawness of our instinctive insides. 

Have you ever been taken away by a strange force that seems to come from deep inside yourself? A force that is hard to control, and that sometimes does not even seem like it is you. We are in search of that energy, sometimes very positive, and sometimes very dark.
